EllaPoe, designer

Starting from a young age, EllaPoe has had an interest in creating jewellery.  Born to Hindu Ashram and raised by western entrepreneurs, EllaPoe has always been interested in unifying these distinct philosophies.  EllaPoe’s work is also hugely inspired by the antiquity, early minimalism and her background in music.

EllaPoe was in Manhattan, training to become an opera singer when she started to design and sell jewellery.  At the time, she was not only training vocally, but also studying romance languages and the mythology of performance.  This was a way for her to support her training.  These pieces became an instant success.  Later, EllaPoe travelled all over the world, getting inspiration for her pieces, making it a mission to create wearable art.

EllaPoe’s debut line, The Constellations, is inspired by her interest with the zodiac and the stars.  These pieces, which come in ring or necklace form, are available in gold (rose, white and yellow) and silver.  Each of the twelve pieces, represnting the different signs, has its own unique pattern, made from conflict-free stones.

Aquarius (available in all 12 zodiacs):

In addition to the necklace, every piece in the Constellations collection is available as a ring.  Necklaces and rings come in 18 kt gold (white, rose or yellow) at $567 US and in silver at $455.  The pendants are approximately 18mm and each necklace 16″ long

A portion of all EllaPoe profits go to Women for Women International, an organizaton which helps women in war-torn areas rebuild their lives.

EllaPoe is available online and at Kaviar & Kind in LA and B’Jewel in Aspen.
