Dora Schabel, launched in 2001, is a line of leather bags based out of Cyprus.   Hand-crafted by trained experts, each bag not only has an organic feel, but truly a sense of individuality. 

Both the structure and the lining of each bag is made with leather, which is either treated or combined with glass, metal, beads, leather skins or cowhide. Lino printing and stiching techniques give each bag further structure, colour and so forth, depending on the design and season.

Dora Schabel is interested in promoting art through fashion not just through conception and execution, but also incorporating art itself with the designs.  Bags might have unique pieces such as hand-hammered metals, butterflies, feathers or handmade glass handles. They also don’t follow any set style, such as formal or casual.

Cyprus Fashion Week 2008

Dora Schabel has been featured in a variety of different shows, including Cyprus Fashion Week 2008, Octagon Center for the Arts in Ames, Iowa between 2004-2006, the Premiere Classe Exhibition in Paris in 2006 and 2007 and the eye2eye trade show in London, 2004.  Curretly, Dora Schabel is available in these shops.
