ideaNation, an organization which helps people develop community projects, held its launch on January at its headquarters on January 28, 2009. Giving adults an opportunity to take a stand for an issue they care about from the environment to the social justice. ideaNation provides coaching, workshop and access to expert pools to support your idea becoming a reality!
To celebrate ideaNation successes they held a celebration and fundraiser. Over 80 people attended and the room was buzzing with inspiring conversations all night! The event started withintroductions and networking around the open bar and appetizer table at the Centre for Social Innovation’sloft on Spadina Ave.Throughout the night, people purchased tickets for the wine raffle and made bids on all the silent auction items ranging from a hockey stick signed by all of Team Canada, Raptors tickets to professional photo shoots and health and wellness packages.

There was a lot of buzz surrounding Ralph Cochrane’smotivationaltalk about his MS Climb project as well as the introduction to Simeon Ross’s Project to walk across Canada followed by a live performance from his new album, Sound at Sea Level.
ideaNation also unveiled their new dynamic website that was sponsored and created by Fuel Advertising to support people getting involved in ideaNation.
The night was a great success and new projects are coming up already including one that launched the next day
