Last week, Prospere Magazine asked its readers:

US Federal Reserve chair, Ben Bernake, believes that the recession could end by the end of the year, if everything is properly stablized. Is he too optimistic?
A third of you (33.3%) believe that Bernake was only saying this so that people wouldn’t be too worried. Another third (33.3%) think that the economy will rebound after the 2009 holiday season, with results being clearer by mid 2010. At the same time, 25% of Prospere Magazine‘s readers think that Bernake was just being to optimistic, plain and simple. No one thought that the economy is already recovering (since the markets have been doing pretty well lately) and 8.3% chose “other.”
What do you think? Do you agree with the readers?
