The complete Hydraliscious collection
I was recently sent samples of Herbal Essences Hydraliscious, which comes in three different sets of shampoos and conditioners, each targeting different hair types. The one I tried was for fine hair, which supposedly gives hair of this type more balance. To be truthfully honest, besides the scent (water lily extract and passion fruit), I didn’t think Herbal Essences Hydraliscious was any different from other volumizing shampoos. It seems that they all work the same way, giving my hair the same type of “volume” without the need of product (which I do not like). Of course, the scent is a little different, and Hydraliscious contains moisturizing agents.
However, I wouldn’t not recommend this product. It still does the job of volumizing hair and preventing it from being too dry or brittle. But there are also other products out there which do a similar job, including Herbal Essences very own Body Envy, which is a collection of haircare products, including a shampoo, conditioner (as well as a 2-in-1), mouse, gel and hairspray. Body Envy even comes in a similarly-coloured container. Perhaps the only real difference between the two lines is that Hydraliscious promises to be more moisturizing.
In addition to volumizing shampoo, the Hydraliscious line has two other products. Self-targeting shampoo and conditioner is for those who want “balance,” and Reconditioning for those with dry/damaged hair. The other two also have non-Hydraliscisous counterparts.
Thanks for sharing the information. I will try Hydraliscious conditioner.
