As you know, the Junior League of Toronto is holding Showhouse from May 8 to May 31, 2009.  However, if you’d like to take a peek at Showhouse a day early, there’s HOUSE PARTY on May 7, starting at 8 pm.  The event celebrates Showhouse’s designers and volunteers and will have delicious nibblies, tasty drinks, a silent auction and of course, great sounds provided by an amazing DJ.  Tickets are $75 and can be purchased online. 

Showhouse is the Junior League of Toronto’s premier fundraiser and is held every four or five years.  Proceeds from the 2009 Showhouse will go to a variety of programs, including the St. Alban’s Boys’ and Girls’ Club, the Sunnybrook Foundation’s Women and Babies program as well as several of the Junior League of Toronto’s programs such as Kickstart for Health and Tea for Teens.
