Bullfrog and Limitless is a haute-design furniture store located on the northeast corner of Sherbourne and Adelaide (366 Adelaide Street East), the only free-standing store selling the two brands in North America. The store only opened in May, offers pieces for every room in any living space and is already the talk of the town when it comes to uniquely-designed furniture.
Both Bullfrog (Germany) and Limitless (Netherlands) offers unique styles not often found in other design companies. Some of the sofas, for example, are very versatile – cushion backs can be, for example, moved around. There are also entertainment units where individual segments can be turned 360 degrees, making a standard looking shelf pop. Many of the pieces found at Bullfrog and Limitless Toronto are small-space friendly, meaning that the sizes are not bulky to the point that it makes a 500 square foot condo unit look crowded.
One of the most unique pieces at the store is perhaps the chair with “pasta” in it. Made out of acrylic with ribbon inside, there are four colours available and available in several styles. The chairs are designed by Zuogang Wu and is sold under the Limitless brand. The tree trunk floor lamps also stand out.
Pieces at Bullfrog and Limitless Toronto are for people looking for sleek, unique and modern-looking furniture for their home. Feminine, Princess-y pieces are nowhere to be found.
