Allison Izu’s Fall Line Makes Petites Look Gorgeous!

Petite denim designer Allison Izu Song, recently opened her online store, meaning that there’s no need to wait for her line to appear in stores near you. Allison’s Fall 2009 collection is influenced by the 1980s – lots of gold zippers (no worries, you don’t need linebacker shoulder pads to go with the jeans!), but she is also keeping her standard dark indigo and asphalt black washes.  New this season are the super-skinny Ultra Kohole, also known as the “UK”(these jeans are so skinny that they feel like leggings…er….jeggings!).  This is also available as a capri. Another new item is the Nolu miniskirt (can be worn either high or low-waisted).  She has also brought back the Kohole (which has a top-stiched princess lines to elongate petite legs), the Honolulu as well as Paniolo.   Every pair of Allison Izu jeans are made for the petite frame.  Full length jeans come in a 31″ inseam as well as a shorter, 27″ lengths.  The 27″ is a rare find, even with petites! Size-wise, they range as small as 000 (for 23-24″ waists) up to a 10 (30-32″ waists).
