According to media reports, they will be announcing it this afternoon at 1 pm Eastern Time.  Watch this space (and meanwhile, enjoy the above video, which is apparently a leak of what the device is going to look like)!

Update: The Apple announcement has started.  Steve Jobs says that 250 million iPods have been sold.  No word on the Tablet yet…..

Now, the main event:  Jobs is going on and on about mobile devices….
